The Faculty of Dental Drugs (SDM) has acquired the 2023 Well being Professions Greater Schooling Excellence in Range (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Range journal, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in greater schooling.

As a recipient of the annual award — a nationwide honor recognizing U.S. well being faculties and universities that display an excellent dedication to variety and inclusion — UB will likely be featured, together with 61 different recipients, within the November/December 2023 problem of INSIGHT Into Range journal.

This marks the second HEED award the dental college has acquired this fall. In September, UB’s Vacation spot Dental Faculty —  a program that goals to take away obstacles to careers in dentistry for underrepresented college students — acquired the journal’s 2023 Inspiring Packages in STEM Award.
